By car (~0:30) or, for the more energetic, by bike (~1:30), you can reach the Riedingtal Nature Park. It offers wonderful ski tours in winter. Here are a few impressions from the summer. From spring to autumn, you can hike in or cycle along the paved road with challenging climbs to the Schlieren reservoir lake with its magnificent "Hubertus Chapel." (Those who are more leisurely or pressed for time can drive by car to Schlierersee on the toll road.) From there, the path continues along a gravel path, somewhat flatter but steadily ascending, along the valley. At the end of the path is the "Örgenhiasn Hütte" (Örgenhiasn Hut), offering delicious specialties made by the farmer himself. Hiking trails lead you to the surrounding mountain peaks and the waterfall at the end of the alpine basin.
