Cross-country skiing - current trail report

The first kilometers of cross-country ski trails were ready as early as mid-November 2025. (World Cup cross-country ski trail and Gnadenalm, Obertauern)

Due to the altitude of over 1,100 meters above sea level, the David Apartments and David Suites are in a meteorologically favorable location and thus offer a particularly high level of snow security.

The nearest cross-country ski trail is only 100 meters south of the David Apartments and David Suites and can be easily reached on foot.

ATTENTION COSTS: Unfortunately, the trails in Lessach, Mariapfarr/Liegnitz, Mauterndorf/Tweng, Tamsweg, and St. Andrä are UNFORTUNATELY SUBJECT TO A FEE DESPITE UNNECESSARILY HIGH OBLIGATIONAL FEES THAT GUESTS AND LANDLORDS HAVE TO PAY TO THE TOURISM ASSOCIATION. Usage permits must be purchased for an extra charge at the tourism association info points or via boards at the entry points using a QR code for your smartphone.
